Wedding Inspiration at Trezzi Farm Winery//Green Bluff, WA

Today is my birthday (I'm 26!) and turning another year older has me reflecting on how far I've come in life and business. Back in February, I started planning for my first ever styled shoot and after a LOT of hard work and amazing team effort with awesome vendors, it all came together on April 19th. While I was getting this shoot ready to blog, I was looking through the photos and just had a surge of pride. I've done so much already this year (and it's only July!) and I can see myself growing more and more after every shoot I do. If anyone knows me, I'm always pushing myself forward to do bigger and better things so it's really important that I take time to reflect, see how far I've come and celebrate it.
This shoot marks a huge move in my career as I went out to network with amazing people, push myself, create beautiful photos, get published and grow my portfolio. Earlier in June, I was super honored to have this shoot published and featured on Ruffled, an awesome wedding blog, which was one of my goals this year. I'm extremely proud of these photos and celebrating it by sharing my personal favorites below. Enjoy!

A little about this shoot:
I teamed up with Dana Muchow DesignGarden of Eden Florals, Artifact Rentals & more to really bring this shoot to life. We wanted to go for something a little "out of the norm" for our area and keep it simple yet elegant with some new unique twists. The idea was to capture a romantic moody vibe with deep, rich jewel tones and subtle details. We added fruit as decorations to give it a slight fall twist with the idea that this look could also work for summer. We chose Trezzi Farm Winery because of it's modern/industrial look and versatility and we chose a Leanne Marshall dress for it's texture and softness. I loved pairing up with Batch Bakeshop who provided a variety of rich, chocolate treats to compliment our style and show dessert ideas. My hope for this shoot is to inspire future brides with great ideas to make their wedding unique and stand out without breaking the bank.
