Oh boy, where do I even start? I have to say, this wedding was one of my favorites from 2017 and I am over the top excited to share these photos with you. Not only was it an unforgettable day but Marco & Kristy have become such dear friends. I will always feel a lot for this wedding.
Marco & Kristy chose to have their wedding at the gorgeous Cave B Winery in the middle of Washington overlooking The Gorge. It was a destination wedding as Marco & Kristy live in Vancouver, B.C. but have family and friends from all over. They fell in love with the landscape of The Gorge after attending multiple music festivals throughout the years and just knew that this was the place they wanted for their wedding.
One of my favorite parts about this wedding was how personal all the details were. Marco's heritage is Peruvian and so they got table numbers in Spanish and surprised guests with Alpacas at cocktail hour. They also made a big tribute to how they fell in love (which was after a moped crash on a trip to Costa Rica) with Costa Rican coffee beans as favors and various moped decorations. They ended their night with a sparkler exit and dancing past midnight with their friends and family. Throughout their entire day, Marco & Kristy were always making sure their family and friends were cared for and having a good time. I think that's why this wedding was one my favorites. Not only did they design their day around their love, they also kept celebrating with their loved ones the top priority. It was the perfect balance of the two most important things: love and family.
Marco & Kristy, thank you for inviting me to be apart of your amazing day! It was one I'll never forget. Check out my favorites from their wedding below and enjoy!
